Inspirational Keynote Speeches
Beaming Bohemian Founder, Shanna Bright spent eight years working, living and traveling abroad. Not only have these experiences been rewarding and ridiculously fun, but they have also helped shaped her communication style, her business approach and her outlook on life. Shanna has developed two keynote speeches which appeal to corporations, business and groups who are looking for unique stories of inspiration.
Five Lessons From Life Abroad –
Eight years of experience summed up in five motivational life lessons.
Most people have never found themselves preparing for a one-way flight to a country they’ve never been to. This was the situation Shanna found herself in in 2002, as she left her career, sold her belongings and packed three suitcases to move to Shizuoka, Japan. What began as a just a “one year break” and the chance to travel, ended up being an eight year chapter of life-changing adventures. Shanna spent five years teaching English in Japan, enjoyed a year of extended travel through S.E. Asia and Europe and two years in hospitality in Hanoi, Vietnam. Lessons in risk, reward and regrets are expressed through short stories, from moments of life abroad.
The Handshake – Still one of the most powerful communication tools on the planet.
What does an English lesson in Japan and a tuk tuk ride in Angkor Wat, Cambodia have in common? This keynote address shines a light on the common thread between two very different life experiences. Focused on the human connection, Shanna describes a classroom experience with elementary school children in Japan and the first few moments of her arrival by tuk tuk into Angkor Wat. Leaving the audience with the understanding of just how powerful a handshake can be, this inspiring story is a perfect keynote for companies who are looking to strengthen corporate culture.
