As suggested by the look of the movie, it is about military background, but its entirely based on a court martial case about a incident which involves a senior officer killed by his subordinate. In the movie there's a scene - When the lead actor and actress go to Rathore's house and meet his wife, his wife says few things which in the movie are shown as every army officer who is loyal, dedicated and tries up to his limits to save our country consists those qualities.

One of the few movies made on the subject on Indian army and perhaps a reality check. This movie couldn't have been what it is without the strong performances of its cast where each character plays an essential part of the narrative set on a strong premise with a hard-hitting message and leaves you on the edge of your seat till the end. Afterall he from drama and stage....and this much is good for him to have some real exercise but kudos for director who used his capability to act in climax. army court martial case and court room drama there is nothing to say that Shaurya is a remake. Coffee is the center of my world every single morning (and several times throughout the day), and it's also at the center of some of the most iconic and memorable film scenes. Last one was Taare Zamee Par and may be Maine Gandhi ko Nahi Maara. Even if it's a copy of "A Few Good Men", the premise is fitted aptly. But for me, the archetypal coffee scene The inspiration is obvious as the outline of the story in 'Shaurya' is largely taken from Rob Reiner's 'A Few Good Men'. And Kay Kay , take a bow..watched this movie till last only for his roaring performance ! Was this review helpful? Coffee is a grim, unsweetened philosophy in the steady discourse of law and disorder. Of course some scenes might trigger memories of other military thrillers like the entertaining but predictable Morgan Freeman- Ashley Judd starred 'High Crimes' or even the awful 'Rules of Engagement' (thankfully this film isn't as bad).

Really pathetic copy of a Hollywood classic "A Few Good Men" with the usual minority pandering theme that Bollywood likes. And my God: It has been done over and over, why not pick something less offensive, something communally neutral? KKM, as good as he is, come no where close to JN's performance. Are you kidding me?? Yes this movie has a lot of resemblances from the Tom Cruise-Demi Moore-Jack Nicholson movie A Few Good Men... Several scenes will remind of the Hollywood movie, but to be honest the story is completely different and that's the USP of Shaurya... All the actors have played exceptional role respectively... It's become what Tom Hanks talks I'm sure that in the course of reading this short piece, and sipping at your own cup of coffee, you've thought of many films I have omitted, or can't remember. In fact it's not fair to compare to the Hollywood movie as apart from the key aspects i.e. What a magical film it might be, though, if the two stars simply slid into a close-harmony version of the 1946 novelty Coffee can help give the game away, or it can be a move in the game. 2 out of 3 found this helpful. Except the stellar performer Kay Kay Menon everyone else is wrongly casted. Okay here's a thing - army doesn't operate like that. The Bucket List is a movie which was released in 2007. In fact, in Heat, Pacino and De Niro spar with each other about their jobs, their prospects, their honor and their manliness – it's a load of high-toned actorly posing, but the coffee covers it. 6 out of 13 found this helpful. I was really looking forward to this movie as I really liked AFGM and have watched it many many times. It was a nice one.
