One of my favourites EVER . The live show is much better than the movie. He comes across as completely charming and warm, melancholy in the appropriate scenes, hugely talented, and a wonderful human being to his very core. Once Around is one of my all time favorite films that I found accidentally one night that I couldn't sleep.

If anyone knows how to purchase a DVD of the actual stage play I'd like to see it. 4.5 out of 5 stars 314. this is a poor quality product made in mexico. It may be quite a short film but one of the best I've seen. i was wondering whether this was worth the watch after the first few minutes but I stuck with and the reward was a real bittersweet love story with great music thrown in!

I'd say it's more a "chick flick" but as a 40+ male, the soundtrack was extremely poignant and that was what made me watch it in full.
