Their young daughter Sophia has caught the eye of Edmund Bellasis, the son and heir of one of the richest and most prominent families in England. Carnival Films is one of the UK’s leading television drama companies, and the producers of Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom, Jamestown, Stan Lee's Lucky Man and many more. This new series is very different in both style, tone and time period.
