Thank you for visiting my website. This blog has changed costumes a few times since I began writing in 2002. It first started as e-mail updates from my first apartment in Fuji City, Japan. It was a way for me to journal my daily moments from a very new and intriguing life. The e-mail letters were transformed into newsletters after I got my Mac. And then with encouragement from several friends, I began a Blogger account in 2005. Before I left for my world travels in 2008, I established On The Bright Side as a website.
Since I returned from life abroad in December of 2010, I have settled into my hometown San Diego, and have a new set of challenges and daily adventures. I may not be headed to Mt. Everest base camp or hiking in the jungles of Thailand, getting blessed by monks in Laos or watching the sunset behind the Eiffel Tower at 10:30pm, but I am enjoying being much, much closer to family and friends, starting my own business and getting back into the groove of life in the USofA.
You can browse through old travel blogs here, or visit my business sites, Private Clubs Online or Bright Life Media. Thanks for following my journey. May your days always remain, On The Bright Side.
